What's in a name? It's pretty simple: Looking out for the mariner, that's
the job of the Lightkeeper.
With 20 years of experience in the marine industry, and a lifetime
of experience on the water, I have developed the skills and knowledge to
design and install systems that you can depend upon. My work with major
manufacturers, national retailers, and as a hands-on craftsman has
taught me the importance of customer service and lasting relationships.
My experience on the water, has taught me
the value of reliable and serviceable systems.
I know that your time on the water is valuable. That is why I
approach every project with quality and reliability as my primary goals.

MARINE ELECTRONICS
Whether it is a simple, stand alone instrument or a
fully-integrated electronics system, you deserve a thoughtful, quality
installation. I work with all major manufacturer's equipment. If you
have your eye on a particular system, or have always liked the way one
brand works, I will work with the equipment that you prefer. Likewise, if you have a list
of a desired features, but no brand preferences, I will happily work
with you to design a system that will best meet your needs.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS & UPGRADES
Need a USB charging outlet added? A TV installed? Or, is it time to replace the
entire electrical system? Let's talk. I have considerable experience improving upon
existing electrical systems, as well as starting over from scratch. If you suspect that you have an electrical problem on your boat, now is
the time to take action, electrical problems do not solve themselves.
FIT AND FINISH
It's the details that matter. Whether you have a classic
custom yacht, a modern production boat, or a stripped-out racer, I will
match your installation to the character and demands of your boat.
I have commissioned over 100 new boats, both cruising and racing
sailboats, as well as motoryachts. Whether you need teak or carbon fiber, fine finish or resistance to the
firehouse treatment, I can make it happen.
CAPTAIN SERVICES
I hold a USCG 50 Ton Master license. That proves I can
fill out paperwork and pass a test, neither of those mean too much on
the water. However, in addition to an official credential, I also bring
experience and sound judgment, those are the skills that bring boats safely home.
OTHER SERVICES
While I have a broad base of experience, I do not claim to "specialize in
everything".
If there is something that I can't do for
you, I am always happy to
help you find the right person for the job. The most important thing to
me is that the job gets done properly.
